This page describes what Clamro collects when you use this website, what it is used for, how to opt out, and how to reach us about it. Clamro is built by a Miami, Florida startup; its legal name and address are published here before any paid service begins. Clamro is in early access: this website exists to gauge interest and to let you ask for a place in line, and no service is provided through it yet.
What we collect, and why
You only give us information by filling in a form. Depending on the form, that is:
- Your name, work email, company, your yearly shipping spend bracket, the carriers you ship with, and the plan you would start on.
We use it for one thing: to contact you about Clamro, in the way you agreed to on the form. Every form has a switch you must turn on before sending; it states exactly how we may contact you, and you can send nothing without turning it on.
Your record of consent
With each submission we keep the date and time, which form it came from, and the exact wording of the switch you turned on. That record is how we show, to you and to regulators, that we contact only people who asked us to.
Every marketing email we send carries an unsubscribe link and a postal address. Unsubscribing takes effect within ten business days, as US law requires, and usually at once.
What we collect automatically
To protect the forms from automated abuse, we keep limited technical information about each request. It cannot identify you on its own and is discarded within a day.
When advertising measurement is switched on, this site uses Google tags that may set cookies for Google Ads and Google Analytics, to measure whether an ad led to a form submission. In the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland these cookies are off by default and Google receives only aggregated, cookieless signals unless you give consent.
Where it is kept, and for how long
Form submissions are stored securely with established cloud service providers in the United States and are accessible only to our team. We keep them while Clamro is in early access and for up to twelve months after launch in your area, then delete them. We do not sell personal information. The details you type into a form are never handed to advertising networks; ad measurement, when on, works only through the Google tags described above.
Children
This website is for adults. It is not directed at anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has given us information, send a request below and we will delete it.
Your rights and choices
Wherever you live, you can ask to see, correct or delete what you gave us, to receive a copy of it, or to stop hearing from us. We answer within 30 days, and we never treat you differently for asking. Use the form below; it reaches the same people who read the leads.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. Anything that affects data you already gave us will be announced to you directly. The terms for using this website are on the terms of use page.
